ABOUT THE PASTORS
Bishop Angelo M. Rosario & Rev. Nancy Rosario are Pastors of
Church of God’s Children in Bronx, New York since 1990.
COGC is an interfaith community and needs-based services church.
Bishop Rosario began his ministry at the age of 18 working with the youth at a South Bronx storefront church. He was the youngest member of the Assembly of Christian Churches to be ordained at the age of 21. He led a crusade of over 300 youth. His walk with God has led him into diverse ministries. His ministerial involvements throughout the past 40+ years include radio ministry, missionary outreach, pastoral counselor, presbyter, teacher and evangelist.
Amongst other things, he is the President/Founder of the United Clergy Coalition, CEO of the Bronx Clergy Task Force under the Bronx Boro President, 2nd Vice Chair of Community Board 10, a Certified Chaplain, and Member of the Bronx Chaplaincy Commission. He is Honorary Chairperson of the United African Congress. He has obtained studies in Theology and Pastoral Counseling.
Bishop Nancy Rosario is a bi-vocational minister and Chaplain. She was first ordained as a Missionary in 1984 and served as a missionary in the Dominican Republic, preaching and helping the poverty-stricken. She has studies in Theology and Church Management, a degree in Business Administration and Spiritual Psychology. She has been actively involved in ministry since the age of 22. Her ministerial work has included: Instructor for the United Chaplains State of New York, Vice-Pres/Co-founder of the United Clergy Coalition, member of the Municipal Services Committee and Executive Secretary of the Bronx Clergy Task Force. She has compiled at 48-page study book titled “The Mustard Seed", and written a booklet titled “The Beauty of a Pastor’s Wife”. She takes very seriously her role as Pastor, Mother, Community Activist and most of all Wife, Helpmate, Confidant and Prayer Warrior of her husband Bishop Rosario
